The food here is great, and the owner, is even better, he's such a cool guy and Canesa's is such a good place to eat! I'm so glad that it stayed open durring Covid times! I work at Chick-fil-A Walnut Creek, and they really excel on all the things we try to work on, Smiling and engaging with the customers, I remember the cashier was so nice to me and the person in front of me, they remembered my dog's name from when she ran away and I guess strolled past Canessas. And Jhon, (the owner) is really a great person! He's so nice and so all are of his employees,

Best sandwich you will ever eat, hands down.If you don't like this place then GO KICK ROCKS.How could anyone not love fresh baked bread.Fresh savory meat and cheese spicy peppers the whole nine yards.This place will put you in the heart of Brooklyn.I myself have never been to NYC but one bite will make it happen.The owner and staff are super friendly make you feel very welcome.TEN STARS out of five

To Kim who ordered The Godfather and said the meat was fatty ... you suck and your opinion of lies can take a very long walk on a short bridge. This is the best place for sandwiches in the entire state. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and professional. The food is fresh and the breads are amazing.

Horrible! I'm thinking to write a review on Yelp as well. Ordered The Godfather but couldn't eat. The meat was very fatty and sliced way too thick, also was NOT fresh at all. Won't be going back
