My favorite Chinese restaurant in Exeter is Mandarin House. The food is delicious, especially the Hot Sour & Spicy Soup, and the service is friendly. It's definitely worth the drive for good prices and great food.

I had not been to restaurant for 2-3 years but i wanted to see if it was still as good as before. Should have saved my money. Walnut shrimp was soo salty.chow me in tasted like it had stuck to bottom of pan and burned.rice was dry and tasteless.eggflower soup had no taste either.waitress had attitude when I asked how bigshrimp was.I will not go back at all.

Just had dinner this evening. Kung pao and gen Tao chicken with egg rolls and fried shrimp. Daughter had sweet and sour chicken with egg drop soup. Appetizers were good. S and S was good. Rice was good. Kung pao and gen Tao were burnt. Waitress claimed the peppers used required much cooking. Offered to replace but didn't want to wait so long. I think chef needs to learn how to sautee or cook peppers better. Meal should have been free. A bit overpriced. Next visit from ks will be to another place.
