I decided to take my friend out to dinner to celebrate the birth of his first grandchild. I asked the waitress how long it would be before we received our food (my friend had gone into the restaurant before I got there, as planned, so that he could order our food and I would have time to eat on my dinner break), and our waitress had not yet taken our order from my friend. The waitress told us, after taking our order, that it would take 10 minutes to get our food. 30 minutes later we still did not have our food. I had to go back to work so I asked for the dinner ticket and paid for it. We were only able to eat the small side salad that was served before the meal. I never got to see our food. As I paid for our dinner I expected to at least get an "I'm sorry" or any type of apology, but nothing. The cashier (whom from my understanding owns the restaurant) acted as if everything was normal, although I had explained our situation to her. Needless to say I will no longer visit this place. If the owner has no empathy nor regard for her customers, then I will take my money elsewhere. I was not looking for a free dinner ( I paid full price for our dinner), just a simple acknowledgement, instead I felt as though I was completely ignored by the said owner.
