Top Reviews of Shasta Sunset Dinner Train

I know this experience has been unavailable for years, but I felt they needed a review.I
My wife and I went on the greatest experience you could ever wish for on this dinner train. I believe we went a total of four times.
The most memorable being a "Titanic" themed mystery weekend. We all dressed in period clothing from 1912 when the ship sank. We also had the last dinner served on that fateful night.
It was held at the McCloud Inn and dinner was on the train.
We were all given scripts to play our parts in the mystery weekend aboard the Titanic.
My wife and I were art thieves. We bribed the bellboy to let us in the room of another passenger. They had a painting about two foot by three foot which we stole and put our forgery that was about an eight by ten sized framed picture (all part of the fun) in its place.
Then after three days of on board festivities and games of the times. We came to the final night before the ship sank.
There was a great detective on board who after questioning all the passengers throughout the weekend deduced we were the thieves and we were arrested.
There is much more to this story than I can write here.
They even came around in the middle of the night banging on doors and yelling about the ship hitting an iceberg at exactly the same time as the Titanic did.
You should have guessed by now that this weekend was the same year as the movie.
To sum up.
I am sorry that so many people will never have this experience of dinner on an actual train from history. The best Beef Wellington that you could ever dream of.
The owners of the train and the Inn were the nicest people you would ever want to meet.
I am sorry for carrying on so much. I could do a lot more.
Just find places like this and cherish the memories you make before there is no where left to go.
Thank You
DC
