Waitress was very nice but the food was mostly tasteless, and missing any flavor, We ordered the fettuchini and it was totally bland, We will not go back. Even the bread they serve was tasteless,

My husband and I had a night out away from our baby tonight, so I wanted to take him somewhere new. I decided on the New Haven restaurant in Pollock Pines, now being advertised "under new ownership". I grew up eating here every Friday night and loved their food. I was initially excited that the menu was similar and my loved teriyaki chicken was still on the menu. We ordered drinks and our meals (my husband - the filet migeon medium well with no mushrooms) (mine -chicken teriyaki) First our salads came out mine with ranch was bottled ranch....not great to say the least. Then our drinks went empty all night, til I finally was so parched that I brought our glasses to the kitchen for refills. Then our food comes out-- his steak was extra bloody with mushrooms, mine was fine. He sent back his steak the first time at this point. I eat half my food, then his steak comes back out maybe medium this time still too bloody for his liking. As the waitress is at our table a bug flies into my food ( mind you we are inside). She takes his steak and my plate to the kitchen, only for us to actually hear their loud- mouth OWNER talking about us in the kitchen. We ask for our check ( even though looking back walking out may have been more appropriate at this point). Then our waitress says that their credit card machine in on loan and that we need to tip ahead of time. As she runs our card, the owner comes out of the kitchen and starts talking to every table in the restaurant, except us, so now we have a loud-mouth coward. To say the least we spent $40.00 on a dinner we DID NOT eat I would not reccomend this establishment to my worst enemy!!!
