This family restaurant offers a lovely dining experience with a great view and friendly staff. The seafood dishes are delicious and fresh, making it a great choice for a relaxing meal at reasonable prices.

Unfortunately this was not a very good dining experience and we would never eat there again. My husband had the worst food, mushy crab cakes and tasteless, cold, lobster bisque that made him ill the rest of the evening. My sister had stuffed shrimp and I had steak tips. Both were okay but the sides, potatoes were ice cold and the green beans were hard and cold as well. My brother in law had a stuffie which was the only thing that was hot when served. His chowder was also cold. The oysters were okay not the best and the sangrias my sister and I had were served in plastic and $8 each!! We plan on spending another week on the cape next year but the Swan River Restaurant will not be on our agenda.
