Called days ahead for a reservation of 10 for a bachelorette party on Saturday @7:30
We were seated directly where the door opens too , it was freezing . Unfortunately another bridal party showed up early for their reservation AND WERE SERVED BEFORE US admittedly so.
Our party waited for over 25minto get a drink order in ( we only wanted waters and when we tried to order appetizers we weren’t allowed too. That was at 9 pm
We aren’t alcohol drinkers so of course the other bridal party that was spending money on drinks were catered to . When we were allowed to order appetizers, our sushi order was “forgotten†they were so busy catering To the booze ordering bridal party , the bathrooms were filthy with urine on the toilets and greasy slippery floors , the floors around the hibachi table were so slick from grease the chairs slid around and you had to hold onto the chair so you didn’t slip . The chef came over to “ clean†the grill , probably just to keep us there because at 9:15 we hadn’t any food .. I got up to discreetly talk to someone Not an apology, not any offer to have our bill reduced .i was told flat out the other bridal party came in early and the took them. Zero acknowledgment that we had a 7:30 reservation and it was 9:30 and no hibachi was started .
I called the following day to talk about the experience, when I asked if one of the cards could be credited, I was informed it could not .when I asked if I was speaking with someone who could authorize that , I was hung up on .
Horrible experience. in a strip mall , outdated decor smells and the floors are slicked and greasy.
the “ pina coloda†is meant to be a frozen drink .. 2 in our party ordered a Virgin .. it was with ice cubes and the mix was expired and off tasting .. the server could see it wasn’t touched .. no offer to fix it ..we had to ask for waters multiple times . the dishes in between soup and salad .. sat there we had to clean up to make space .
I didn’t want to make the whole bridal party uncomfortable and complain. They just wanted to leave , we were overly hungry at 9:45 when the chef came over to finally cook .
