I have been on a quest to find the best biscuits and gravy in Central Illinois, and I believe I have found it at Sam's Cafe. The diner exudes an old-fashioned charm and is located on a bustling city street. The service is friendly, and the biscuits and gravy taste homemade, making it a great spot for a classic diner breakfast.

I loved it. It's not fancy at all (in a good way). Anybody could walk through the door there and not feel out of place. Sam is there cooking and talking with the customers. Food was GREAT, It tastes like you cooked it at home. The price is also reasonable. It was $12 for my friend and i to eat breakfast. Come on man, $6 for a really good breakfast. This was my first time going and i am definitely going back. They don't expect credit cards. Just cash.
