La Vita Dolce offers a welcoming atmosphere with ample seating and easy parking. The salted caramel option was particularly delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly and provided great service, even on a busy Saturday morning.

The food is amazing

I have the good fortune to live close by, so I can come for my coffee or gelato almost every day. The turning point for La Vita Dolce was about two years ago, when it acquired new owners. Gone are the white walls - the place now has the cozy feel of a neighborhood coffee shop, a place where locals come to meet, eat, have coffee and/or work. Theirs is the best wifi in the area (I know, I tried everything around there).
I love mocha and I love gelato. I traveled a lot around the country in 2007 and around Europe in 2008 and I made a point of finding and tasting the best gelato and best mocha in every place I visited. And after every trip, I always run to La Vita Dolce to get a good mocha for a change. Not even in Italy (Trieste) I could find gelato better than they have here, and the only place where gelato was as good was, surprisingly, Belgrade, Serbia.
But, probably the most important (to me) thing about this place is the staff - friendly, knowledgeable and always making you feel at home. La Vita Dolce is more than just a cafe - it is a center of this neighborhood's social life.
