The best Mexican food in WV can be found at Rio Grande. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the prices are excellent for the quality of food you receive. The atmosphere is inviting and perfect for gathering with loved ones over a delicious meal.

I have eaten at this Rio Grande for 15+ years and in the last couple years the quality of food and some times the service has been going downhill. I do not plan to go back to this location, even though I have always said this is my favorite Mexican Restaurant. I ordered a Jumbo Chicken Burrito with grilled chicken, well the burrito may have had 6 to 8 small pieces of grilled chicken in the whole burrito. When I go to pay, the lady at the register ask if I had the grilled chicken or shredded, I told her grilled and she said that will be $11.77. I said how did you come up with that price, she said the grilled chicken is $1.00 more, I said okay, so $8.00 + $1.00= $9.00 + tax = $9.54, not $11.77. I tried to make her understand she was over charging me a couple dollars, but she wouldn't have it. With this kind of incompetence taking the money, I will not go back. I also had the receipt from the waiter, which showed my burrito was only $8.00. You all really need to get your stuff together. I guess I will just start eating at Las Agaves, which was my second choice Mexican in the area.

Excellent service and ALL of the staff are very compassionate to all of their guests.
The price and amount of food served
CANNOT BE COMPARED.
I highly recommend Rio in Nitro !!

I have been going to Rio since I was in Jr high. Love the staff and the food. If they mess up on the order they are willing to fix it.

I've have been eating here for over a decade with my family. I have never been disappointed, well one time the doll crane was out of order and my five year old was upset. They got it fixed. She's happy now.

I have had problems with take out orders before. One time they forgot to put on the cheese. Today the entree was cold and the chips were old. I ended up throwing it in the trash. My family and I have been going there for 20+ years. I finally learned my lesson. I will NOT be going back.
