I moved to Charleston 5 years ago and I could not seem to find a Chinese or Japanese restaurant I liked. Until one day I tried this place. Teppanyaki is the best Chinese/Japanese restaurant in Charleston. And trust me I love Chinese food and this place is the best!

I went to the restaurant today and I completely waited my money. The horrible mold smell was overwhelming. I could not keep my appetite because of the wet moldy smell. I told my waitress, who was very polite, and then the manager who didn't even act like she cared about my complaint (if your in customer service at least ACT like you care about a complaint). It was clear that the smell was coming from the carpet and I tried to lean over the table just to be able to eat. I have been to the restaurant 3 times and the food has always been ok but I will NEVER go back. If you go, do not sit on the left side of the restaurant unless you want to smell musk while you eat!

ms jan, don't stomp in demanding biscuits with your meal and you'll have a better time...there's a MCDonald's within about 1/4 mile...take your bougie palate there

I hope your store is not own by the same company in richmond va 4338 s laburnum ave. the host alittle white boy talked to me like a dog I was so upset I went to the manager because the customer sevice was not good at all he just looked at me so I said I will talked to the owners of this company he said will never be able to reach them I not going to give up until I be heard and some respond I am terrified!!!!I will give you 3 stars just for hearing my complaint PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
