Nothing better than a double scoop from the Local Scoop in Matthews. They are located behind the Carolina Beer Temple with plenty of outdoor seating. Large picnic tables, shade umbrellas and soft Astro-turf makes for a wonderful place to socialize with friends. I love chocolate ice cream but fell in love with their Sea Salt Caramel and locally sourced Strawberry. A scoop of each is a must.
