Fantastic Experience!
From start to finish, Maddi's provided me and my husband with a great dinner. This cozy little restaurant is nestled inside Maddi's Gallery, a very interesting craft and folk art gallery. Making our way to our excellent people-watching spot near the window, we noticed the exquisite bartop and chandelier; both very unique!
For dinner, my husband ordered the Shrimp & Grits, and and indulged in the Southern Fried Chicken. Both were out of this world! The latter comes just loaded with bacon, roasted tomatoes, green & red peppers, green & red tomatoes, onions... just a perfect dish.
The fried chicken was also just great. The chicken itself was wonderful, crispy but not greasy, and Moist. But the real highlight of this one were the sides. Maddi's serves this one with a Smoked Gouda & Cheddar Macaroni & Cheese, and Collard Greens... both of which are imperative when making a trip to Maddi's!
We highly recommend a visit to the best restaurant in the the north Charlotte area!!! The service was ideal, personal and professional. I never once felt like they didn't have time for me. The ambiance alone is worth the trip.
