A wonderful place for "cornbread and collards" southern food. You can get all the snails and crepes you want in Charlotte but places like this are unfortunately few and far between. Jeffria took such good care of us!!!

My husband treated me to breakfast here. I ordered livermush, grits, hashbrowns, eggs and orange juice. My plate also came with toast. I must say the breakfast was delicious! That livermush was so good. I was pleased with the everything. The staff was very friendly as well. I would recommend to anyone.

My friend asked me to go to lunch with her one Wednesday, asked me if I had ever been to Sunflower, she showed me the menu and we went. OMG the staff was wonderful, I ordered the liver with onions and gravy and the mac and cheese. My mouth had an explosion of savory and fresh flavors. I always thought no one could make liver and onions better than my dad...sorry dad these were the best I have had in Charlotte other than Athens. I have been back twice since then and ordered the same..They get 5 stars in my book!!!!

They have the most AMAZING grits I have ever put in my mouth....sorry mom!! The staff is very friendly. I have made it my goal to try everything on the menu...so far so great!!
