The deep dish pizza from Lou's has become a beloved staple for me, with its rich sauce and generous sausage making every bite memorable. Although the recent acquisition by a conglomerate has led to price increases, the quality remains impressive, and the service has always been exceptional. Living in Chicago, I'm spoiled by the abundance of fantastic pizzerias, but Lou's consistently holds a special place in my heart, especially when I'm craving that crispy, buttery crust.

I used to frequent this place for their delicious deep dish pizza, which I found to be quite satisfying. Their Malnati's house salad and chicken wings are also worth trying. However, I was disappointed when the original owners sold out to a large investment firm, resulting in significantly higher prices. Nevertheless, the quality is still consistent, and the service has always been good. If you're willing to splurge a bit, their well-done deep dish with a crispy crust is a must-try in the Chicago area.
