Well today being Father's Day, went to the Worth Restaurant for breakfast, party of 3. Been going there for years and years. Haven't been there since last year though. We ordered our breakfasts, got the food, which was very good. Afterwards when the server brought the bill, I handed her my debit card and was told "WE DON'T TAKE DEBIT OR CREDIT CARDS ANYMORE". There was nothing in the restaurant or on the door stating that fact. If a restaurant took debit and credit cards last year, and changed that, to cash only, why isn't it posted in the restaurant, on the menu, signs, on the door??? Why didn't the server tell us or anyone else that the restaurant only takes cash for payments? Yes, the restaurant has "regulars" that go in and eat weekly or bi weekly. They found out, obviously, that Worth Snack Shop only takes cash now. But there are people like us, who go there occasionally, and people who moved, people come for vacation, just people who are regular customers. So, there should be "CASH ONLY" posted on the door of the restaurant, on the front of the menu, and by the register, on the walls, ect. A server, should tell you each and every time that the restaurant only accepts "CASH" for paying for your food before they even hand you a menu. Not tell you after you eat, and give you your bill. And there is no ATM in the restaurant. So, for anyone who wants to go to eat there, make sure you have "CASH" only. Bad way to do business, considering we were there last year in the summer and used our debit/credit card. Changing the way customers can only pay for the meal to "CASH" only after years and years of people using their debit and credit cards, Worth Snack Shop needs to put signs up everywhere, on the door as you enter the restaurant, on each table, everywhere. Make sure you have "CASH".
