I do not recommend this restaurant. I have been to this restaurant several times and used a restaurant.com certificate. They have deceptive business practices. The menu clearly states that you get soup or tomato juice, vegetable or sauerkraut or sweet n sour cabbage and a choice of potato along with dessert and coffee. When they see the certificate they eliminate the vegetable & the dessert. I ordered 12 potato pierogi & they charges me $18.00. I had been there 6 months prior & ordered 12 potato pierogi & they only charged me $9.00. I did not even get soup, vegetable dessert or coffee. My husband was cheated out of his dessert and vegetable. Mind you there isn't even an item on the menu that costs $18.00. The most expensive was about $12.95 for the farmers plate which included 3 or 4 different meats. All I ordered was potato pierogi. Believe me the food is not that great. This is peasant food which is very inexpensive. They are just robbing the customer. They probably no they are going out of business so they don't care. There was only about 4 other tables on a Saturday night. It used to be an OK restaurant but has gone down hill. I would skip this rip off restaurant & go to the Bohemian Crystal down the road. Terrible service, mediocre food & deceptive business practices. If I were restaurant.com I would not let them participate in their business community.
