I tried the Mushroom Swiss burger and found it lacking in flavor, but the kids loved the breakfast buffet on the outdoor deck by the lake. Despite a swarm of bees at our table, the ambiance at Dockers made us feel like millionaires at our own private country club, and the friendly staff and delicious food made it a memorable experience for our first visit.

Moved to fox lake area. Went to dockers about a month or so ago. Found it just driving around checking the area out. We sat on the deck over looking the water. We had a nice time. Thought the place nice, staff nice. Then our food came. I ordered shrimp pasta dish. just my opinion but maybe the cooks there should be taught "¦ if sea/lake foods have a fishy smell"¦that may mean it is spoiling. We did not say anything because staff seemed perturbed we decided to sit out side and then moved out of the sun. ANYWAY, yesterday we decided to give the place one more try. Again nice staff, nice place. Food was better this time. However we went safer and ordered burgers. Then ordered dessert to go. Carmel pie ala mode. I think $3.99. Are you kidding me with the portion and no ice cream for 4 bucks. We were hoping to make dockers our place to go "¦"¦. No third time the charm for us.

I ordered a Prime Rib DINNER on Friday night around 5:30 or 6:00. I asked the waiter to please give me one without fat. He personally cut the fat off himself. It was excellent.
