Visited this small quaint restaurant in Dairen in a small strip mall off Plainfield Road. Owner not only greets you but serves you as well all his Moroccan influence dishes (he's a self taught chef).
Started off with the Moroccan tea that's really flavorful & served in a beautiful traditional ornate tea pot accompanied with also beautiful serving cups. This small restaurant's decor is lined with everything from Morocco. Appetizer was the sampler Taktuka which is assorted beets, carrots and eggplant served with pita.
My favorite was the chef's wife favorite which is the Mogador salad w/grilled chicken~all fresh & yummy. One of the restaurant's popular dish is the Lamb Shank Tagine which is served with prunes & fries~very tender fell off the bones. Overall this one man show (with a chef in kitchen preparing the chef's recipes that he oversees) this restaurant is worth trying & you won't be disappointed!
