This bakery is truly exceptional! Every visit leaves me wishing I lived closer. The rye bread is simply amazing, and the pocket cheesecakes are a must-try. The staff is incredibly friendly and genuine, making it one of the best bakeries in the neighborhood.

I get Kolachke every time I fly in or out of Midway Airport. Put the box through the scanner and eat 'em before I land, usually.

I really enjoyed this bakery back in the day. I moved out of state and recently came back to the area. Not a fan of the mask rules seeing that they are optional, mandated and required not a law. I walked there on a snow storm mask wasn't required last week. Walked there today mask was required. Bakery is good but today they gave me something I didn't order and when I called they told me that's what I picked out. It wasn't and they weren't willing to rectify it

This was my go to bakery, when we still lived in the Chicago Area. Love all their products, especially the walnut & poppy seed strudels, there INCREDIBLE!! All their bakery products are FANTASTIC!!! The flavors are out of this world ... PTICEK'S...is still my go to Bakery anytime we make a run back to Chicago to visit with friends and relatives! 💖 PTICEK'S BAKERY ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

My family has been going to Ptizeks for over 40 years. They are a true bakery! We live in Naples Florida now and have never found another bakery anywhere near the quality of Ptizeks., Among our favorites is their long prune coffee cake, kolatckies, Krulers light as air sprinkled with powder sugar, apple strudel and their homemade breads. An extra treat was their homemade cookies.It would be wonderful if they could deliver to Naples, Florida.

No one is better than Pticek's. Best fresh chocolate donuts (not greasy or grainy), the cheese puffs pastry will make you melt, the streudel ... Wow!! Flakey and delicious. Cheesecake ... Pecan sticky buns... Their dough for each type of pastry is unique to that particular pastry. So many bakeries use the same dough for everything ... Not Pticek's. They are not a commercial bakery. A true European bakery.
