Delicious clam chowder, friendly staff, consistently good food every time I order here. Grateful to have a good fish and chips spot nearby, with attentive staff. Ambiance could use a carpet replacement, but that doesn't affect the food quality. Just go for the fish and chips - quick, good, and a bit dated but who cares? Lots of parking and plenty of other tasty options on the menu. Serena took great care of us for my mom's 80th birthday, making it a special occasion. The food was excellent, especially the oozy caramelly bread pudding surprise. We'll definitely be back on a Monday or Thursday evening. Best fish and chips in town, hands down, with incredible clam chowder and the best Calamari appetizers. The food is incredible, even if the ambience could use some updating. Definitely coming back for more of their tasty offerings. Gina, our server, was charming, caring, and fun - a great asset to the place. A favorite spot with good food and great service. Can't wait to return!

Use to be excellent food, where did the other cook go ? Just not the same any more , a shame as too many eateries in Chico are not any good or have left Chico.

Ordered from online menu, picked up, later noted the price was over $22.00 too much.
I called, informed them, was told by manager the price is on their in store menu, the online menu in not accurate.
I said most people order online with the online menu.
She said it was my fault for not asking the price.
I've enjoyed their food for the last time, to be ripped off in these times is intolerable.

Went in after lunch hour and ordered a bowl of clam chowder and that is excellent. Also, ordered Alaskan Cod 3 fillets basket with fries, and cole slaw. Cole slaw was thrown into a plastic cup right from a bag of chopped up cabbage with no flavor. I asked to have the fries extra cooked so they would be firm and some crunch. They came limp, soft and mushy. The fish, which got plenty of was well cooked and batter was great. Got an Arnold Palmer to drink. With minimum tip it came to $40 for my lunch. Needless to say I wont be back. They did not create the meal I truly was expecting even when it was asked for. Won't go back.

Good food but kinda greasy fish n chips but probably one of the best in our area. The salads are amazing!

Go here if you want sushi. Been here a few times, the food is good when it is cooked thoroughly. Fish came golden on the outside and raw in the middle. We were told we were going to be getting new ones. When it came out, we got half of the food we had paid for. Instead of wasting time arguing, we happily paid and will not be returning. I had just introduced my coworker to place too. Too bad customer service is poor.

Online menus said senior menu for shrimp $9.99, menu said $14.99 and bill came for $15.99. With tip a lunch for 3 came to $60.00. Way overpriced!!!!!!!

My husband & i found Pelicans Roost 3 yrs or so ago and my gosh are we glad we did!.The food, service & prices are exceptional....have no idea why this remakable restaurant only has 3.8 stars...i would give it a 10 if i could...absolutely!
