I just came from Mallorca in Cleveland, Ohio. It was my 50th Birthday and a friend of mines 50th as well from Toronto. While the food was great, the service was the worst. I had gotten a drink to my sitting down with the rest of my party. There was to be 3 checks for the evening. We ordered our appetizers while everybody but myself had wine I wanted a cocktail. I had my first drink with the appetizers we ordered on me and my husbands bill. After that the service went down hill. during eating the appetizers I asked for another drink. It never came. I asked again from another server, it never came. One one my guest went to the bar and asked, it never came. Finally at the end of the meal I finally got my drink while taking orders for my desert, which they said they would take care of. We did decide to order dessert. BIG MISTAKE! We had originally saw people getting this flaming coffee, I guess they are famous for, when we first sat down we saw that and they thought it would be great for dessert. Though it was ordered with the other desserts 2 people wanted the coffee. after the other desserts were finished I went to the front asked for the manager to tell him that the 2 coffees did not come or prepared at the table like they do for the 2 people who wanted the coffee. Though my bill for 2 people was well over $140.00 I did not leave a tip. I do not know what the other 2 bills were I walked out afterwards waiting for the rest of the party to exit. Mallorca thanks for the worst 50th celebration.
