Our experience with treeline kitchen was horrible. First, we show up and are told they are full and the wait exceeds how long they will be open. So we make a rooftop reservation for the following evening. We show up the following evening and can not be seated on the rooftop due to a "private event" we didn't even see anyone up there. Ok, enough of that let's get to the food. We had a party of 6 and our bill was just shy of $200 this price is insane for what we got. Let's start with appetizers. The cornbread was a joke. It was the thickness of a pancake and burnt to a crisp. The crab Rangoons were over fried and had zero filling. The fried chicken was under cooked. And the biggest let down of them all was the $24 Lamb pasta. We expected this dish to have a nice large pile of lamb but we were hard pressed to find any. The smell of the sauce was almost nauseating.
Alright now the service. When we asked for water the waitress basically pointed at the 2 half empty water containers on the table and said we have water in the glass containers. Oh really??? I had no idea those were there. There is a reason we wanted more, so just bring it when we ask. Lastly it took forever to get our outrageous bill so we could get the heck out of there. Oh did I mention it was hot as heck in there.
