Enjoy a relaxing evening with drinks and pizza at Slopeside Grill. My family and I had a wonderful time at this cozy spot last week. It was special to visit a place my Dad loved in his younger years. The service was exceptional, the pizza was delicious, and the atmosphere was inviting. I look forward to returning whenever I'm in Steamboat Springs in the future!

While the food is pretty good, and the atmosphere of the restaurant nice at the base of the slope, management has been unable to staff the restaurant adequately for holidays outside of the winter ski season.
For the 2012 Fourth of July holiday week, we found the restaurant staffed on a traveling holiday with a hostess so overstressed with seating, serving and bussing, that she dropped trays and was more than 4-5 tables away from the persons attempting to follow her to seating. Our waitress may have been 1 of 3 we saw, forgot to deliver drinks, brought the wrong wine and charged us for it AND the correct one, delivered cold food, had extra orders which were not for our table (3 items) delivered and then charged us for those. We were never asked about the food and had to follow her around to get the bill to her for correcting.
Overall, the entire staff on duty continued to say that they didn't think it was going to be busy (not that they knew they were going to be understaffed for the evening) - for probably the largest traveling holiday of the summer. POOR, POOR management of the restaurant - for a location which has had good rating for quality and atmosphere.
