Great food - get all sorts of items you could normally only get in Europe. From wursts, sausages, cheeses, breads, chocolate, spreads, spices and more. They even have Quark here - healthier than Greek yogurt!

Truly wonderful experience today shopping for the first time. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. The food especially the pretzel sticks and salami were out of this world. Bought some German coffee but will have to wait until we get home to try it out. There were 2 bags when I saw the coffee and only got one. I asked one of the ladies and she told me it was terrific so I went back and the other has been taken. I'll be back tomorrow to try again and get some pastries too.

When visiting my daughter in the Springs my first trip is to Wimbergers to stock up on Semmeln, Bretzen Wurst, my favorite is smoked Mettwurst vom Stiglmeier and so many more Items to mention. The Bill reflects my Purchase.I wish we had a Wimberger in the Virginia Beach area. Wimberger I will be there at my next Visit.

The smell of fresh baked breads and pastries when you walk in is worth the visit alone. Their rolls and sourdough rye is the closest you will get to Germany. The fleishsalat(sorry if that's mispelled) and gypsy salami is some of my favorites. My dad was born in Germany and loves their cheesecake as do i and i don't care much for sweets. They speak German as well as english and the nice lady at the deli counter has helped me pick out birthday and xmas cards for my grandmother(written in german) and was very kind!! If i could give more stars for this bakery/deli i definitely would.

I moved to Colo.Sprngs in 2008 with my Husband who is from Germany after living 21 years in Germany.We were thrilled to learn there was an authentic German bakery where we could get brotchen and many German items. We feel so fortunate to be able to come to Wimbergers very often! We have a "German breakfast" at least once a month or oftener.Another favorite is the delicious potato salad.Thanks Wimbergers for making all these lovely European items readily available!
