Food Allergies? Don't Go!!!!
I explained before I sat down that I was very allergic to gluten and corn. They said "no problem. we can accommodate you". The manager was great. The waiter was new, but wrote down everything I told him. However, the manager and waiter were of no use because of the owner and her cook. I had to send my food back the 1st time because of the seasoning and sauces I told them I could not have. The second & last time, was because of the corn hidden under the vegetables I had already eaten. I spoke to the owner and discovered that my food had only been rinsed off the 1st time...when she saw the look on my face, she changed that to, 'he gave me all new food'. And she said that the cook obviously didn't understand that the corn he put on my plate was actually corn that I could be allergic to. If you are allergic, cross contamination is the same as eating it. OH...and I specifically said...dozens of times...no seasoning at all. The owner told me that of course there was no seasoning (because it had apparently been rinsed off when I sent it back the 1st time)...just a little salt. The booth behind us had to send their drinks back because of dirty glasses. And to top it all off, the owner made me pay for my food that I didn't even get to eat half of.

Purchased a takeout meal for our evening dinner the last week in Feb. We ordered sweet and sour chicken. It had to have been left over from lunch. The chicken pieces were very hard. It tasted a day old. There was not a single piece of pineapple in the dinner entree. It had two shriveled up green peppers and two burned shriveled up onions. The egg rolls were mostly thick crust with just a little bit of cabbage inside. Very disappointing. Restaurant used to serve fresh meals. Will not return.
