Nancy's is a landmark diner in Clintonville. For years I stopped every morning for breakfast after dropping my kids off at school, enroute to my office. The chicken noodles over mashed potatoes on Monday and Thursday is just like my German grandmother made! More than a few times I drove from our place on the other side of town just for the noodles, about forty miles round trip. There is a reason there often is a modest wait to be seated. Eat it and beat it s the call of the day! Very reasonably priced for the great value. Many Ohio State athletes recognize a tremendous deal when they see it, and frequently visit. Approximately six or eight years ago the restaurant was temporarily closed following the unexpected death of the principal owner. The neighborhood went into shock and actually conducted fundraisers to help reopen the place. With the reopening the menu was dramatically increased, but the food remains excellent. Integrally involved in the Clintonville community the new ownership has revived and increased the annual Thanksgiving feast that feeds hundreds of guests without charge,

Home cooking at its' very finest.
