We visited Shank's over the weekend and, despite the busy area, we placed our order quickly and enjoyed the super friendly and knowledgeable service. The lobster rolls with generous portions were delicious and the view of boats coming and going made for a perfect dining experience, especially under the shaded tent.

Went to shanks on a Saturday which opened up at 11 got there at 12..on Friday shanks closed at. 8pm..so the lobster was they served me was 16 hours old....I sent them an email, they did not response...the lobster smelled fishy and was dark in color, so you know it had been sitting for a while...lobster roll is not cheap there...I will go to the lobster shack right next door...prices are cheaper and there was more people there, so that tells me it is a better place to eat...not a way to run a business, you lost my business...

Drove to the shore for lunch at Shank's with my son and wife to celebrate my 58th birthday. Ordered grilled fish taco(they gave me fried), lobster grilled cheese(wife enjoyed it),and vegan taco (no got). We ordered and took our seat, and when the other food came out we were told they were out of, "vegan meat". Would have been a bit more considerate to have told us of the ,"vegan meat" shortage at the outset.
