During our frequent visits to Griswold CT over the past decade for concerts at Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun, we had never explored Route 12 South for breakfast until today. Arriving at a popular breakfast spot around 10:40am on a busy Sunday, we were pleasantly surprised by the efficient service and warm welcome despite the line out the door. The delicious homemade hash and perfectly seasoned home fries were highlights of our breakfast, and we left with plans to return to this charming local diner.

Ive been going here since i was a little kid, and now i bring my daughter here They have Greatstuffed french toast and you can get anything however you want made.

Awesome small town restaurant. The waitstaff is friendly and quick, the food is great, and the prices are very reasonable. I stop by every time I pass through Lisbon. If you're looking for a nice home-cooked breakfast, look no further.

Worst restaurant I have ever been to in my life. Bad service, rude manager and/ or owner. I would save my money if I were u this restaurant is a waste of time and money the food made me sick and I have heard they are infested with rodents yuck! Like I said don't waste your time or money if u are hungry I suggest that u go across the street to Green onion restaurant or even down the road to Deans corner so much better food and service and they are reasonably priced and negotiable on changes to orders or special orders breakfast &things won't let you make a special order, the always raise the price of meals or try to charge extra for everything, and not to mention each time I ate here there was the most awfully mean and rude older woman with curly hair and she was seen being rude to the customers and yelling at staff I even witnessed her making a staff member cry, and I am to believe that she was the owner so if that's who is in charge of this place u can only imagine how horrid this place really is and very unfriendly! You make the decision but you would be better off eating out of a garbage can honestly.
