Top Reviews of Julian's Brick Oven Pizza

My experiences with Julian's have consistently been positive, with the food always exceeding my expectations. The pizzas I've tried were extremely tasty, and the heroes, such as the Italian and chicken parm, were both delicious. Even the calamari, which can be tricky to get right for delivery, was terrific and held up surprisingly well. Despite some outdated negative reviews, I find Julian's to be an excellent choice for Italian food with great quality and service.

I too won't be dealing with Julians after hearing how he treated the lady after
he gave her a poorly packed dinner which ended up on the floor of her garage.
Now they have lost at least two customers! Was it worth it?

Wow, I don't know what to say. I am literally shocked. I have been a loyal customer for two and half years and I am so very disappointed in the owner of this establishment. I order two large pizzas and three entrees tonight. Picked them up in a paper bag and when I took them out of my car (placed on passenger floor) the bag broke through and all the food came spilling out onto my garage floor. The bottom of the bag was saturated with sauce because the tins of food were not sealed. When I returned to talk to the owner, Michael, he refused to replace the meals and told me it was my fault the bag broke due to my driving and not his error. I showed him pics of the wet-bottom bag from my phone and he protested further. I explained that I am a loyal customer and he acknowledged knowing me. He said he would not replace the meals unless I paid him another $45. We discussed this for several minutes and he waved his hands at me in protest. I explained that him turning this around on me when I did not pack the bag was unacceptable and that he would lose a customer. He said that I should do what I need to do, but he would not change his mind. How much would it have cost him to replace three pasta dishes , a few meatballs, and a piece of chicken? $8-10 at his cost? Yet he was willing to blame me, not show grace, and prove that his main focus is money and not loyalty to his faithful patrons. What a shame. The pizza is great, and although I hate saying this, i will never give Michael at Julians Pizza in Monroe my business ever again. A loss for me and my family, and I know a financial loss to him and his business. It wouldn't have taken much to have had a completely different result if he only looked past the ten bucks and reinforced his desire to keep loyal customers. I would've been a raving fan, and a customer for life. Instead, I am writing this. It is always a bad decision when you put money ahead of people who have been faithful.
