Too expensive!

Yesterday, I visited a bakery to pick up pastries for a work meeting. The staff member who helped me choose pastries for 12-15 people was incredibly helpful and friendly. My co-workers loved the treats, and the service was quick and efficient.

Not overly impressed. Called to make a delivery to local nursing home and was turned away because they were too busy, closing soon and couldn't deliver less than 2 miles away within next 72 hours. Well, took my business elsewhere and in less than 2 hours items were delivered and everyone was so happy to celebrate the milestone birthday during this pandemic. S9 sad Purdy Hill, long time favorite place for our family, couldn't come though for us.

Best pastiers and desserts around by far. The fruit tarts are always best fresh fruit and the variety will always keep you coming back to try something new. Don't be fooled by these new york transplants and weekenders who only want something for free. Local and community caring. Just don't think Karen will have her special treatment. They are very intentive to customers and will make you wait fairly in line will like everyone else even when threating a yelp review when someone believes they are better. Thank you for bringing not only good food but decency to are small new England town. That infected new yorkers have stripes away. If i could be give more stars I would.

Last Easter, I bought some pasteries. They were tastless. I bought a Crumb Bun and it was stale.

I always order Birthday cakes from Purdy Hill and have always received many compliments. This is my family's go to Bakery. I had a Bridal Shower for my daughter last weekend and ordered a cake to serve 60 people. It was beautiful. The bottom layer was chocolate frosted with loose roses. The top was vanilla with Cannoli filling and frosted with gold and trimmed with real roses. Everyone at the shower loved the cake and asked where it came from. I would highly recommend. For an everyday use -I also love the apple strudel

The absolute worst. Incredibly stale and tasteless cookies. Not like an old style bakery in any way.

I love this bakery! Everything is made fresh and is always delicious! I always had a good experience with everything I bought here. I would recommend this bakery to everyone!

We had ordered bread for our wedding, we wanted 3 foot plain un-braided bread, we were quoted a reasonable price, and when the order was read back to us it seemed like the associate understood our desires. When we went to pick it up the morning of our big day the bread was extra long, braided and so stale we could have used it as baseball bats, they then proceeded to tell us it was our fault and we got charged almost double the quoted price. I will NEVER use them for anything ever again, what a waste of time and money.
