We got a nice menu in the mail on Thursday, and we decided to try this place (instead of Frank's which is where we go every Friday for pizza) and thus made a horrible decision. Menu had a great selection. THEN, all he** broke loose.
1. Guy who took the order did not understand or confirm that he understood me. Took 10 minutes to order.
2. 1 hour later the doorbell rang - 1 hour on a Friday is acceptable. But the delivery driver had no pen so my husband searched through our kitchen for a pen for him. HE ASKED TO KEEP THE PEN AFTER MY HUSBAND SIGNED THE SLIP. seriously!
3 We got the wrong order. No pizza, no blue cheese (paid extra for that) and no french fries.
4. Called them right away as soon as I saw, the girl on the phone said she would get it to me "sometime" When I pushed she said "what do you want me to do? it depends on traffic conditions?" ( I live 4 miles away)
5. She offered to "give me accredit for a free pizza" (i.e. the next time I would get a free pizza) BUT ONLY IF THEY DIDN'T DELIVER THE MISSING PIZZA TONIGHT. I said, "That's not a free pizza that's the pizza I paid for tonight but you want to deliver it tomorrow. She got mad, and asked "the boss" who said "What do they want I can't give away free pizza." I said to deliver the pizza and the missing items which had been charged to my card already (!) and waited.
6. One more hour later I called again. The girl was apologetic and offered a free pepsi, but suggested I'd be better of if I "count on it not coming tonight"... I said you can please deliver tonight.
7. Half hour later it comes. The pizza (cold, because it was probably made 2.5 hours ago) still no blue cheese, and the wrong fries- they must have got mad that I wanted ALL THE THINGS I PAID FOR because they sent every single type of French fry they sell, with the cold pizza. Except the one I ordered (curly)
8. Delivery boy said "Don't worry about it, this is on the house." My husband said "No, I paid for this three hours ago buddy. It's not free." The kiid said "we're really busy."
Well, the good news is that if they treat even a small portion of their customers like this, they wont have the problem of being too busy to handle the orders, that's for sure.
