We went to Chatterley's on Thursday night, especially for the prime ribs served that night. The food was very good as usual, but the service was NOT. We made reservations for 10 people; the seating was nice. It actually wasn't as busy as expected so were surprised with the very slow service that we got. We saw only one waitress that seemed to be handling the whole room and maybe even the banquet room (?). One of our group got the wrong order, a hamburger platter instead of a prime rib, we had to ask for drink refills of soda/water and then it took a long time getting them (at least 10-15 minutes), I requested a dessert and coffee which I never got and since everybody else was almost finished eating decided to just forget it. We asked for our leftovers be boxed to go home which they were and we appreciated the labeling, but where there were vegetables and potato left as well as the prime rib everything but the prime rib was discarded. For the price you pay for dinner ALL the leftovers should be sent home even if not specifically requested which they had been. All and all we had a good time, but the service was way below par as I have eaten there several times. I'm not sure what the problem was, but it will make me think twice about going there again especially with a large group. I am not blaming it all on the waitress either whom seemed stressed and less friendly than usual (I have had her before). I think management needs to be taken into account and I intend to speak to the manager when I get a chance.
