I've been surprised with the deli's new hours and was excited to grab a sandwich for lunch. As I entered the deli, however, I noticed that all the previous sandwiches were gone. This was obviously a disappointment, but I ordered a pair of grilled chicken sandwiches. My bill was $21 for both sandwiches and 2 Snapples. Pricey, but the sandwiches were historically great.
Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. The chicken was diced and dry (and falling out of the sandwich) and the avocado (which is an up charge) was so unripe, it was inedible (you could bend the slice in half without it breaking). The service was friendly, but good service doesn't compensate for expensive, mediocre sandwiches. Maybe this was a one-off, but I won't be returning. Definitely a bummer.
