The shrimp pho at this Vietnamese spot is unmatched, and the spring rolls are a must-try alongside the egg rolls. Cash is the way to go here, but the range of prices for the dishes is quite reasonable, making it a top pick for authentic Vietnamese cuisine in the DFW area.

The BEST, no doubt about it. I've eaten at many, many pho shops, all around D/FW, and Hop has them all beat. The broth is just magical, savory and beefy without a bit of sweetness. The owner has a flawless memory too. I've had stints where I haven't been in ages, but when I come back she still remembers exactly what I always order (tí¡i nạm with the raw beef on the side. I like to soak it in lime juice and put it in the broth after I add basil, sriracha, fish sauce, more lime juice, and a hint of hoisin to the broth). One time I came in on a Sunday and didn't speak a word. I sat down, she asked if I wanted the same, and I nodded. Then I ate, paid, and went home.
