Food is to too salty and to too sweet. Can't taste the meal for all the salt and sugar.

Can you ask for a meal with less salt and sugar.

Staff was very friendly the yams were great. But I noticed my chicken wings still had feathers on them that mean they were not cleaned well. The dumplings were very salty I couldn't eat them. And the fried food had no seasoning. Really was hoping it would have been a good place to eat but was just a place. I guess that will be my first and last visit. $60.00 on food I couldn't eat!!!

just checked out this restaurant 9/21/19 and awesome, fab, fab, fab. had the smothered porkchops mac and cheese, greens, yams, peach cobbler wonderful and fried pies. i will tell everyone in the DFW area and also my job will us them for catering during the holidays.

I've tried it a couple of times. Both times I got greens. The first time I thought the greens were way too salty so I thought, let me try again. The second time, the greens were just way too salty, again! The smothered porkchops, I've simply had better. No onions, no bell peppers... I was just disappointed. My husband got me meatloaf the second time and it was just way too tough for my liking. I love that it's a black owned establishment and we wish them well but I've had better...

Very nice staff and food was great. I had the Fried catfish mac and cheese with greens. Cornbread very nice and my peach cobbler reminded me of the ATL. I will be back and bringing friends to make sure this place stays open. Support this great restaurant in Carrollton Texas, There is not any place in the DFW area like this.

This moved to Carrollton Texas and Oh My God, thank you Ms Mary's Southern Kitchen, I am a native of Chicago and this is the real deal. Great food and so so clean. Sometimes you need to let a restaurant know you appreciate a clean restaurant. I had the smothered pork chops and i didn't need a knife. The sides are so good. I plan to make this my weekly spot.

Here with my girls and loving me some Ms Marys Southern Kitchen. Just had the daily special today Beef Tips over Rice. Really Really Good. I have told all my co workers and friends to try this amazing little restaurant. Its really clean and the service is outstanding. The decor and pictures are really southern and nice. I appreciate my friends for bring me today. I too will be making this a weekly spot for good homecoming, soul food.

Just got off work after reading one of the ladies review, selected Grill chops black eye peas and rice with brown gravy. The chops are amazing and the sauce she puts on it needs to be put in a bottle. Its really really good. I just told all the guys at FEDEX stop by and check out this amazing restaurant in Carrollton Texas. Lets get this lady on TV. its really good.

Not bad. Home made, forsure. Has that Aunt Mary's house , kinda taste. As if you went to a great aunts house an made a plate of food an brought it home. To cook such a variety at the house, I don't have time for, the patience, or the money. The Bread Pudding was fantastic. The fried pork chop was very good an tender, Mac an cheese was okay, corn bread was okay, an the rest of my meal( cabbage, fried okra, mashed potatoes ) was allllllllllllllll just okay. Once again I can not make alllllll that variety of food in one night for dinner. Too old , too tired, too poor, too fat. So for the money, taste, variety, and the convenience. It was worth the trip.
