Made a reservations for High Tea three weeks in advance. Called the day before to confirm the reservation as well. We showed up at 1 (our reservation time), and left at 2:15, but never got sat, and no manager even spoke to us. We were continually lied to by the hostess, she kept telling us she was going to get our table ready (probably said this 4 times), then we would watched her walk around and talk with other employees. By 1:30, after waiting and being lied to for 30 minutes, I asked to speak to a manager, and was COMPLETELY blown off. The entire hour and 15 minutes I was there I never got to speak to one. By 1:50, it being obvious they didn't have their sh-t together, I simply asked the hostess what was going on. IF they overbooked, then fine... tell us, so we can MAKE the decision to stay or leave. We had continually been told our table was being set up when it obviously wasn't .... because we had been waiting 50 minutes over our reservation time already. So at 1:50, the hostess told us we could sit in the High Tea room if we wait 10 more minutes. Since we had already waited 50 MINUTES OVER our reservation time, with NO explanation, or care by ANY OF THE EMPLOYEE, we said okay ...... 25 minutes pass ........ and At 2:15, I went to check the high tea room to see if our table was even put together, I see a tabel set for 5 ... and then I see them sit a DIFFERENT party. After an hour and 15 minutes of waiting, no one telling us what was going on, or how much longer it would be. We left, so glad we spent $20 on a deposit, to stand and wait. I feel completely disrespected the entire Ediths Team. We were told a manager would come talk to us multiple times, no one never did, even after asking. I’ve never been so ignored at a place we were about to spend $40 per person for. I will NOT be going back, and I high suggest you never give this establishment your time or money.
