Chicken was dry & cold. Cold slaw too much cilantro. Orange glaze on Chicken clashed with smoke. All-in-all probably the worst meal I've ever had @ DFW!

The bartender took my card to pay my bill and because he was talking too much and not paying attention he gave my card back to another customer who walked off with it! I will not go back!

The food was really good BUT after spending $69+ and leaving a $11+ tip, our card was billed an extra $10+ that wasn't on the final receipt. I can't say that I trust the people or business here.

My wife and I were traveling and stopped at Hickory On Sat., May 1st in the B concourse. We both ordered the brisket sandwich and were just amazed at the flavor and the amount of meat. It was so flavorful and delicious we told others about it and couldn't wait to go back on Wednesday, May 5th. Both days, we were the first one in the restaurant and the first order of the day for the kitchen staff.
I ordered the very same sandwich on my second visit and instead of getting these big pieces of brisket, (As shown on the website picture), I received a sandwich that had all these "schnibbles" or little end cut pieces. There wasn't nearly the same amount of meat on the sandwich. Both days, we sat at the bar, and I told the male bartender that just by looking at it, I could tell it wasn't the same quality of sandwich. I never even took a bite out of it and he took it back to the kitchen. It came back within one minute and I could tell that it was the identical sandwich. I proceeded to take the top off the bun off and dissect the meat. It had one large piece of brisket and the rest, little end pieces.
To be fair, I guess I should make two reviews. Without a doubt my first experience would have been a 5 (closer to a 10) on a 1-5 scale. For a $15.00 sandwich, my second experience would have been a 2. The flavor of the meat was good but quite the disappointment after my first experience.
