Oh man, let me tell you about this place for breakfast. The lunch is alright, but breakfast is where it's at. The spot is cozy, so be ready to get up close and personal with your neighbors, but the service is solid. And don't expect fancy decor, it's a no-frills diner. But let me tell you, those pancakes are killer. Overall, great value for good food, and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommend for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank.

Delicious breakfast at "down-to-earth" prices. Waitresses were very friendly and efficient. My coffee cup was always full -- (I don't know how they did that). And just a comment here: I don't know what people are looking for when they go to a small, mom and pop diner. Some who wrote reviews above must think that they are going to a restaurant where their check for 2 people is going to be over $100. Get real, folks. There isn't anyplace close by that can compare to Garland Cafe. !!! And that's my opinion for today.

Food was good.EXCEPT it was served on a cold plate so only stayed good for five minutes. Also the waiter wears a coat and gimmee cap so you think he may leave any time. Prices are ok. Place looked clean.
