Have you noticed what's going on with Ripley Street lately? I swung by for a meal a few nights back and found the place all shut down, with a sign saying it's now only available for private events. Ripley was a solid spot in the Freight House, offering a good dining experience and a nice wine selection for our area. It's a shame to see it go - we really need more higher-end dining options here in the Quad Cities. RIP Ripley Street, especially your duck with cherry risotto. Here's hoping you make a comeback soon to satisfy our cravings once again.
