The food and location are both enjoyable. It's a convenient spot to meet friends for a meal, with a decent portion size and a slightly noisy atmosphere.

I had an initial conversation with the waitress about the "safest" thing on the menu to order, because I can't tolerate spicy.
Finally settled, after much back and forth, on the chef's feature, whitefish with a cream sauce.
My entree came out, literally, black... smothered with spices.
My orange sangria tasted like a glass of orange juice with a 'splash'' of wine
The entire experience left us wondering, once again, why we selected this restaurant to celebrate his birthday.
Waitresses (inside the dining room) were in yoga shorts
Bare concrete floors, looked like they just pulled the carpeting up
My husband said he could hardly wait for the waitress to bring the check...the chairs were so uncomfortable and wobbly
Overall experience not even close to their fine dining prices.
We're done.

Finally!
When I travel to Decatur there is a place that I will will be back to visit.
Good Job Beach House.
You are doing what a great independant restaurant is supposed to do. Please the customer!
