The food and service at this restaurant exceeded my expectations, with the oxtail and curry platters providing generous portions that fed three people easily. The lively atmosphere, complemented by a great selection of music, made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Having tried various dishes over the years, I can confidently say that this is some of the best Jamaican food around, and I can't wait to return for more!

The food and service at this restaurant were truly outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised by the attentive bartender and the overall dining experience. The oxtail and curry platters were absolutely delicious and worth every penny. Make sure to try their mouthwatering dishes if you're in the area!

This was our first visit to this restaurant. The food was excellent not to mention the presentation. Wait staff was courteous and efficient. The atmosphere was pleasant and quite enjoyable. We hope to visit again while in the area. We also would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

Well when your so called precious 21 year old STOLE MONEY out of my tip bucket He got wat he deserved
AND as for you Mommy NICE JOB raising such a thief, criminal, and a nuisance to society.

This restaurant was brought to my attention through my staff. I wanted to treat my staff too an associate appreciation day. So I decided to check the place out myself. The owners are excellent, very friendly. The food is alright. I've had better. The atmosphere was great. Only reason why I would never use this restaurant. There is very rude and extremely ghetto bartender that works there. I witnessed her cursing in front of owners, staff, and customers. That's not the kind of place I would bring my staff.

Had a late lunch at the restaurant on Thursday April 3,2014. The food was horrible and I was prepared to let it go except the woman who served my family was such a ghetto piece of trash I would never spend my hard earn cash there ever again.my son ordered jerk chicken breast he tried to pick it up with his fork and it just crumbled it was boiled not jerked with no jerk sauce on it. He went up to the counter to get sauce and was told he would have to pay 75 cen.He told her to take it from the tip bucket on the counter she flipped started verbally abusing my son. The cook tried to calm her down without success. He was the one who brought out the jerk sauce because my son demanded a refund. After she complained to the other patrons she quiet down a bit. After the meal we were about to leave and she started to yell and scream at us directing her comments and anger towards me. she does not know me but she is trying to tell me how to raise my 21year old. She was very inappropriate and I am still wondering what we did to merit such disrespect I will no
never go back there and I will let my friends know what to expect from the staff there.

An impersonation of authentic jamaican cuisine, very good location, but horrible jamaican cooking.. more so im very much dissapointed...Their culture seems washed up over there. ..

Food has really gone down in quality....This place had some really good food a few years ago....It looks as if they are cutting corners...All atmosphere....poor food!

The food at D&H in Newark isn't as good as the one on 4th Street, but the atmosphere is comfortable. The service is about the same as 4th Street.
