Just wanted to say I've been a customer of both the Newark and Bear Amore. Tonight we treated ourselves to Wings and Flounder Sub. I personally won't by wings anywhere else. Receptionist was courteous the driver was very pleasant and the food was exactly as I expected delicious. Thanks Amore's voted for you in best of Delaware. Poll.

I purchased an order of 10 chicken wings last Friday evening from Amore Pizza at their Red Lion Road location. When I opened them after arriving home, they were extremely undercooked, almost raw. I immediately called the store and was told to bring them back. Because I was already home, approximately 20 minutes away, I had guests at my home, and it was ten minutes before the store was closing, I told them I wouldn't come back that evening. After speaking with several persons, I finally got the manager on the phone. She told me that she would give me a credit towards my next order of wings and this info would be noted next to my phone number in the computer. A week later I called to get my credit wings and I was told that I was barred from the store, I was not getting any wings and they no longer wanted my business!! After speaking with several people again including a manager, a gentleman came on the phone and said "you do this all the time, we are not giving you a credit"!! I replied "what are you talking about, I have only been to this place three times and last week was the first time I ever had a problem." He finally told me that they would give me my money back, but they did not want my business.
I am simply appalled at the way the staff handled their mistake of serving undercooked food!! There was no politeness, apology or anything resembling customer service extended to me!! You don't have to bar me from your business, because I will not return!! Further, I will encourage everyone I know not to patronize you in any way, catering included. Ironically, I belong to several organizations that have used your services in the past, well consider them barred too!!!!
