I found a great spot for a day trip to Lookout Mountain that was easy to get to. Visited in April when it was snowy, so the views were a bit limited but still beautiful. The best part was stopping for some hot cocoa, which was surprisingly the highlight of the trip. The hot cocoa had whipped cream and chocolate drizzle on top, and it was made from scratch - super smooth and the perfect temperature. The peanut butter Oreo fudge was also a hit! Plus, they offer ice cream scoops in the cocoa for kids, which was a nice touch. The cafe had a cozy vibe with Western-themed gifts and a small but tasty menu. It was a memorable stop on our last day in Denver. The buffalo burger was really good, and the fudge was outstanding. Don't miss out on trying their root beer float - it was delicious. The staff was friendly and the views from the overlook were phenomenal. It's definitely worth a visit if you're ever in the area!
