My husband and I like to support local businesses, Today, we decided to give Doug's Diner another try. My husband ordered Huevos Rancheros and I ordered a Patty Melt. The beans on my husband's plate were cold and the waitress overheard him telling me they were cold she said she would bring some hot beans, which she did. My Patty Melt was tasteless the fries were cold. Our waitress was nonexistent for much of our meal. We generally dine in and have ordered breakfast, a couple of times, pancakes are always cold and hard on top and soggy in the middle. The Ruben sandwich was soggy and greasy. This is the third time we have been disappointed in the food and the service. I don't think we will be back.

4 stars for the food.
Service poor never came back to see if we needed anything. All servers would pass by and wouldn't ask if we needed anything. She forgot half our order we sat there with no forks or spoons or napkins. When she brought them her comment was. I thought you were using your fingers. Not funny when your food had been sitting in front of you. My wife and family enjoy your food very much but your staff needs some customer service. 👎🏻

Doug's Diner has some of the best food in Colorado! Because of that it is a very busy place. Their takeout is awesome too.
