The food at Bosphorus on Downing is consistently great! I've tried all the entrees and sides. My family and I have been going here for a couple of years, and we have never been disappointed. The Sultan platter is a great choice for your first visit as it will give you a sampling of the grilled beef, grilled chicken, beef gyros, chicken gyros and kofte kebaps. It's served with a crisp salad on a bed of delicious rice. Even the french fries are special! I love the red lentil soup on a cold day and I could drink a gallon of the Turkish tea.

The chef is hospitable and hard working as is his staff. They are busy and the place is small, but it just feels like home.

The food here is amazing! We had a chicken gyro and it was fresh and delicious. The falafel salad is excellent and so is the fried eggplant. We will be ordering again soon.
