My family visited the location in Clive, IA - May 29th. We had an hour wait "¦ not a problem until we didn't get seated until 1 hour and 45 minutes later. We had to ask our waiter if we could place our drink orders. Then after drinks came we wanted to place our order and he said he would be back"¦. Finally we got his attention to place our order. After 30 minutes our food started to be brought out- 2 orders were wrong and the steak was raw- no where near medium well. Waiter said he would bring orders asap"¦.. after about 20+ minutes 2 orders came"¦. Still waiting on last meal. Had to ask for refills"¦ sat another 20 minutes and still no meal. Everyone else was done eating. I went to speak to manager- he was very kind and apologetic- got the last order out to the table and said he would take $40 off of our bill. I paid for the bill while the rest of the family watched my husband eat. I checked my bank account and receipt to find the $40 was not taken off of our bill. I called the next day- spoke to the manager who was working the previous day and after me telling him 5 times the credit did no process and read everything to him on the receipt he would have to have his manager call me or corporate. Two weeks later and no phone call from anyone. As if the wait time wasn't ridiculous, raw steak, orders being brought in waves because orders were wrong, asking for drinks & refills, refund not being processed and no returns phone calls. I am disappointed, angry and can't believe you all thought it was ok to treat my family and myself the way you did. I hope you don't treat your others customers this poorly. If I could do mark the visit worse than terrible I would have.

I was very disappointed in my experience at the Clive Cracker Barrel this past Saturday on the 5th of March, my family which is myself my wife and children were in the store for dinner and while we were waiting on our food to come . And across the entire store we suddenly hear a female server, come to find out her name is Emily was back in the cooks area saying F this F that I'm done with this place. My wife Informed our server if you can cancel our order and we would be leaving if we heard it one more time and then our food arrived but we did hear it again right as our food arrived but the kids were hungry will never come back to this location
