Locust Tap in the east village is a classic dive bar with a lot of history. Despite its small size and grungy vibe, it's a fun spot with a pool table for a casual hangout. The graffiti-covered walls and laid-back atmosphere make it a must-visit for a genuine dive bar experience in downtown Des Moines.
