During a recent visit to my sister in St. Clair Shores, we decided to enjoy lunch at a restaurant known for its puffy tacos. We both ordered chicken tacos, which were filling, and I couldn't resist taking some homemade guacamole home for my long drive. The atmosphere was pleasant, with friendly service, and despite some changes in food quality over the years, it remains a favorite of ours.

Ordered take out and have missing items like the fondue and taco sticks, and honey,chocolate and strawberry topping all on the side. And the Sopapiaz had cheese on it with cinnamon it was gross looked like a quesadilla and tasted like 1 figured don't knock it until u try it🤢 I have never had cheese in it before it always came puffy with honey and cinnamon these were flat no honey. I called the restaurant thinking someone made a mistake but nope all El Charros outs cheese on there sopapilla (Sopapiaz) will never order from El Charro over priced for such small amount you get of food and the food is bland!

You cannot pick up your order in the drive thru if you called it in. WHY NOT???? So I had to park in the tiny packed parking lot and go in and wait an additional 15 minutes even though I ordered it 20 minutes before i got there. The chimichanga was the size of a fig newton and 5 bucks. Other food was great wife loves the enchiladas and i love the puffy tacos.
