Food was delicious, service was mediocre, The desserts were outstanding especially the apple richard tart and key lime pie.

I was in this restaurant on 8/24/13. This was the WORST experience I have ever had at any type of restaurant. Our service was horrible, and the owner just made excuses for her "Saying its just business - the girls don't like to stay." But that's their job, plus the restaurant is only open till 8p.m. anyway. There was at least 8 errors made, including my food being made wrong, and once I finally got it every else was done eating. It wasn't my error ordering it was the sever writing down the wrong order. Then they didn't even discount the food. After waiting all that time the food wasn't even that good. I would advise anyone looking at this restaurant to keep on driving. It's not worth the hour and a half for one meal

I love coming here for the Pierogies The Kremish ( A light, flaky pastry with creme filling and powdered sugar ) is AMAZING.

Ellie"s home cooking food is delicious! It doesn't matter what you order the large portions
on real dishes is sooo good. I especially love
Polish day. Prices very reasonable and the wait
staff is friendly.

Ellie's is more than just your average coney. They have excellent breakfasts, hearty dishes, and great daily specials (the fish and mac is to die for). But look a little further on the menu and you'll find a variety of Macedonian and Polish food. Ellie's is family owned and operated, and on any given day you'll find Ellie (yes, there really is an Ellie) back in the kitchen cooking her specialties. As far as atmosphere, it's on par with most Coney's, but the personality of this place is truly unique.

This is a great local secret. They do carry coney island style food but this is not the reason to visit. The ethnic food varieties are spectacular. Hungarian and macedonian cuisine every day and Polish food several days a week. I would recomend this place to everyone.
